Microphones and mixing boards? What will I need to do small home recordings? - i mxl 990 do i need phantom power
That is the situation;
I have about $ 300 to spend on equipment and microphones. I want a dynamic mic and a condenser microphone. The Shure SM57:

looks good for the dynamic microphone, about $ 100.

I used several microphones into a single output, connected to the input jack on my computer to mix and mixing records with Acid Pro, I still need an amplifier with mixer before? And there's a better way it could be recorded and mixed signals, which are costly.
Finally, I need to know if I have laid a good mixer. If yes Any suggestions? I like to keep $ 300 or less. Other suggestions to make my case better appreciated.
If it helps, I'm in the studio guitar, bass, keyboards, and finally, violin. I'll worry about the battery when I have more money for the drum mics.

They have a few weaknesses.
